About DANA
Ready to use in publications. Please do not alter.
Legacy displacement and system integration stall in discovery. Teams spend weeks reconstructing how existing systems behave because the knowledge is scattered across code, documentation, and people's heads.
DANA speeds up legacy displacement. It reads your code repositories, documentation, and data systems, finds where the documentation is missing, and interviews the domain experts who hold the rest in their heads. The result is a knowledge base that answers questions in plain language, so teams can build on it without waiting for the few people who know.
DANA stays with the team after go-live. It detects new gaps as systems change and keeps its understanding current, so the new platform doesn't become the next legacy problem. DANA runs inside the customer's own infrastructure, so all data stays in their environment.
That's the idea behind the name. We called it DANA after the Persian word (دانا), meaning "wise"; the one people go to when they need to understand something.
DANA is a product of DataChef, headquartered in The Hague, Netherlands.
